Privacy Policy
- The extension runs entirely in your browser. It has no server.
- No data is sent to the developer or to anyone else. No ads, no usage statistics, no trackers.
- The only network requests go to Vinted, using your own session, to read your sales and wallet when you start an export.
- Your settings and purchase costs stay on your computer. You can erase everything at any time.
1. Who is responsible for the extension
V-Reseller Dashboard is developed and published by Simon RIHOUEY LEREBOURG (France).
Contact: contact.vreseller@gmail.com
V-Reseller Dashboard is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Vinted. "Vinted" is a trademark of its owner.
2. What the extension does
The extension helps Vinted sellers:
- create an Excel dashboard of their sales (revenue, margins, statistics);
- prepare a bookkeeping journal (Excel file or French FEC file).
It does nothing until you click one of its buttons. It only acts on the Vinted tab open at that moment.
3. Data processed
3.1 Data read from your Vinted account (only when you start an action)
- Your sales: item title, price, order status, date, order number and link.
- Your Vinted wallet history: date, amount and label of each transaction (sales paid out, spotlight or bump purchases, transfers to your bank). Transfer labels may include the start and end of your IBAN as Vinted displays them, partly hidden (for example "FR76 **** 0517").
- Your Vinted annual income reports (PDF), if you choose to import them: payment amounts and dates. The extension uses them to check totals.
This data is read through Vinted's pages and addresses (vinted.* domains), with the session you are already signed in with in your browser. The extension never reads or asks for your password. It changes nothing on your Vinted account: it only reads your information.
3.2 Data you enter yourself
- your purchase costs (per sale, per keyword rule or per bundle);
- your settings: accounting accounts, journal code, VAT, period, interface language;
- expenses you add by hand (purchases for resale, spotlight, etc.).
3.3 What the extension does not collect
It collects nothing else:
- no logins or passwords;
- no full bank details;
- no messages or postal addresses;
- no browsing history or location;
- nothing about other websites you visit.
4. Where data is stored
Everything is saved locally, in the extension's storage area in Chrome (chrome.storage.local), on your computer:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| List of your latest sales (title, price, status, date, link, cost) | Fill the "Costs" tab and rebuild the Excel file without reading Vinted again |
| Purchase costs, keyword rules | Calculate your margins |
| Settings and expenses entered by hand | Prepare the bookkeeping journal |
| Totals of your Vinted annual reports | Check that the figures are right |
| Past months of your wallet history (local copy) | Avoid asking Vinted again for months already read, so fewer requests |
| Yearly total of spotlight / bump purchases | Calculate your net profit in the dashboard |
Files you generate (Excel, FEC, .json backup, diagnostic file) are saved in your downloads folder. What you do with them next is up to you, for example sending them to your accountant.
5. Data sharing
No data is sold, rented, shared or transmitted to the developer or to any third party. The extension contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It loads no code from the Internet: all of its code, including the ExcelJS and pdf.js libraries used to create Excel files and read PDFs, is packaged in the extension.
The diagnostic file used for support is never sent automatically. It is downloaded to your computer, and you decide whether to attach it to an email. It contains sale titles and technical extracts of Vinted pages, which may include your buyers' usernames: check it before sending. Data from Vinted's responses is reduced to its structure in it, and name, address and email fields are hidden.
6. Limited Use (Chrome Web Store rules)
The use of information obtained by the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements of the Developer Program Policies. Data is used only to provide the features described above. It is not transferred, not used for advertising, and not used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. Nobody reads it.
7. Permissions requested and why
- activeTab and scripting: run the reading of your sales on the open Vinted tab, only when you click a button.
- storage: save your settings and costs on your computer.
- Access to Vinted sites (
vinted.fr,.com,.co.uk,.es,.de,.it,.pt): read your sales and wallet. The extension accesses no other site.
8. How long data is kept
Data stays on your computer until you erase it. Part of it is replaced at each export: the list of sales and the local copy of the wallet.
To erase everything:
- uninstall the extension: Chrome then deletes all of its storage;
- or use the button that clears the local wallet memory in the Accounting tab;
- or delete your cost rules one by one in the Costs tab.
9. Your rights (GDPR)
The developer receives and keeps none of your data, so there is nothing to send you, correct or delete. You stay in full control on your computer (see section 8).
For any question, write to contact.vreseller@gmail.com. You can also contact your data protection authority; in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
If you email us, your address and message are used only to reply to you. They are deleted once the request is settled, and no later than 12 months after.
10. Security
Since nothing leaves your browser, the security of your data mainly depends on your computer and your account. Protect your computer session with a password, and be careful with the Excel or FEC files you share: they contain your sales figures.
11. Minimum age
The extension is meant for sellers who use Vinted. Vinted restricts its service to adults, so the extension is not intended for minors.
12. This page
This page is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any host, GitHub may record technical information about visitors (IP address, for example). See GitHub's privacy statement.
13. Changes
This policy may change, for example if a paid plan is added. Any change will be published on this page with a new update date. If a feature ever needed to send data outside your browser, it would be clearly announced before being turned on.
